Our Purpose & Goals
The Bruin Bulletin strives to create content that connects us to our community and school. Our content touches on current matters with the valuable perspectives provided by a variety of talented writers through grades 8-12. The Bruin Bulletin is a space where writers can experiment with different forms of journalism (art, poetry, interviews, investigative, etc.) and risk-taking is encouraged.​ We tell stories of people whose voices are not often written about and actively make an effort to incorporate diverse and unique voices and stories.​

We gratefully acknowledge that we share and pursue information from the traditional and unceded territory of the xwmÉ™θkwÉ™yÌ“ É™m (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱ wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish), and sÉ™lilwÉ™taɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Peoples, whose stories and arts have often been excluded from mainstream journalism.
